Italian volcanoes Stromboli and Etna erupt on same day



Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology said that Italian volcanoes Mount Etna and Stromboli erupted on May 19, Stuff reported citing Italian daily la Repubblica. Mount Etna erupted in the early hours, sending a 1640ft high lava fountain, while Stromboli erupted in the afternoon sending a pyroclastic flow down to the sea along 0.62 mile of the coastline and produced ash clouds.
