Hamilton names former Everest Re exec as CFO

Hamilton Insurance Group Ltd. said Tuesday it named former Everest Re group executive Craig Howie as group chief financial officer effective July 1, 2021.

Mr. Howie will be based in New York and report to group CEO Pina Albo. Mr. Howie replaces Tony Ursano, who will be leaving Hamilton in mid-July to set up an insurance and insurtech advisory business.

Mr. Howie was executive vice president and CFO at Everest Re group.
