Bill would grant 12-week paid parental leave to USPS staff

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on May 13 passed two U.S. Postal Service reform bills, of which one focuses on a 12-week paid parental leave for the employees, Federal Times reported. Another bill aims to remove the prefunding mandate for the postal company’s retiree health care, which is currently one of the greatest financial strains on the agency.
