BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Know a good risk manager? Cybersecurity expert?

Colonial Pipeline, made infamous for its recent ransomware attack that led to problems at the gas pump throughout the Southeastern United States, is hiring — and had been before the incident, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Thursday.

The Alpharetta, Georgia-based company was reportedly trying to fill the two security leadership positions “just weeks” before it was hit with the ransomware attack, the newspaper reported.

Georgia Tech’s dean of engineering told the newspaper he wasn’t surprised that Colonial had job openings.

“There is a significant shortage of cybersecurity professionals that understand energy,” Raheem Beyah, who is also an electrical and computer engineering professor, told the newspaper, adding that he wouldn’t be surprised if 50% of the companies in metro Atlanta and elsewhere face a similar situation. “We have been raising red flags and alarms for years.”
