Colorado House passes health insurance bill

The Colorado House of Representatives on May 10 passed a bill that focuses on providing new low-cost, higher-quality health insurance options for the individual and small group markets on the state’s exchange, VailDaily.com. House Bill 1232, which was passed on a 40-23 party-line vote, would require Colorado’s insurance commissioner to develop a new standardized health benefit plan by January for the individual and small group markets on Connect for Health Colorado.
