iPhone production halved at Foxconn plant after COVID-19 outbreak

Production of Apple iPhone 12 at Taiwanese electronics contract manufacturing firm Foxconn Technology Co. Ltd.'s Tamil Nadu, India-based factory has dropped by more than 50% as around 100 workers testing positive for COVID-19 infection had to stop their work, NDTV reported citing Reuters. Foxconn is a major supplier to Apple Inc.
