USI Insurance Services Inc. said Monday it had completed its acquisition of the insurance business of Northwest Insurance Services from Northwest Bank, a subsidiary of Northwest Bancshares Inc.
Warren, Pennsylvania-based Northwest Insurance Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Northwest Bank, provides property/casualty, life, disability and long-term care insurance, as well as group health, life and disability employee benefits.
Northwest Insurance Services has 58 employees, all of whom will be joining Valhalla, New York-based USI, according to the broker’s statement.
Northwest Insurance Services will assume the USI Insurance Services brand, according to a USI spokesman.
USI is the ninth-largest broker of U.S business, according to the most recent Business Insurance rankings.
USI Insurance Services LLC has acquired Troy, Michigan-based agency Colburn Group Insurance, the brokerage announced Monday.
