Coal-fired plants struggle to obtain reinsurance cover

Thermal power plants in India are finding it difficult to secure reinsurance coverage in international markets as global reinsurers tighten their environment, social and governance policies, Asia Insurance Review reported citing Times of India. Domestic insurers do not have the capacity to cover coal fired power plants.
