Bermuda plans to become major climate risk finance hub

Stephen Weinstein, chair at the Bermuda Business Development Agency, revealed a plan to establish the world’s leading climate risk finance industry in Bermuda, Captive International reported. Bermuda, which boasts a strong presence of weather-related property catastrophe reinsurance experts, can leverage its capabilities to educate international firms about climate risk finance options available in Bermuda.
