Cyber insurance premium rates to keep climbing

Analysts at U.S.-based Fitch Ratings Inc. expect significant increase in cyber insurance premium rates along with tighter coverage terms over medium term, Reinsurance News reported. While underwriting performance may recover due to premium growth and tighter coverage, the analysts believe that greater risk of cyber incidents will potentially keep claims cost trends going higher.
