Continued recovery drove ILS capital to $94 billion mark

Data from Aon PLC indicates that the global alternative reinsurance capital, mostly from insurance-linked securities, rose by $2 billion in the fourth quarter of 2020 to reach $94 billion by the end of 2020, Artemis reported. Global reinsurance capital grew 4% to a record $650 billion in 2020, driven mostly by the growth registered in fourth quarter.
