Bill aims to expand telemedicine access after pandemic

A new bill sponsored by Delaware Rep. David Bentz would expand statewide telemedicine access after the COVID-19 pandemic subsides, Delaware Business Now reported. The measure, dubbed the Telehealth Access Preservation and Modernization Act, would permanently change the rules that required patients to have at least one in-person appointment with a health provider before telehealth services could be used, and allow patients without internet access to get telehealth services by phone.
