Illinois increases benefits for firefighters’ pension fund

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Monday signed into law legislation that increases benefits to the Chicago firefighters pension fund, Chief Investment Officer reported. The measure increases costs of living adjustments for some beneficiaries, among other things.
