Pathpoint adds lessor’s risk only commercial insurance

Pathpoint Inc. has launched lessor’s risk only commercial insurance package, the San Francisco-based digital excess and surplus distributor said Tuesday.

Coverage is available for properties including banks, offices and shopping centers and can be accessed through Pathpoint’s online platform, which can provide immediate eligibility feedback and auto-quoting for total insurable values up to $2.5 million, the company said.

The lessor’s risk only coverage is available in all 50 states, with Pathpoint serving as the surplus lines agent handling all servicing and compliance.

Demand for lessor’s risk only coverage is rising, said Bobby Touran, co-founder and CEO of Pathpoint.
