Aon-Willis merger under scrutiny in Singapore

The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore has initiated anti-competition assessment of the proposed merger of major insurance and reinsurance brokers Willis Towers Watson PLC and Aon PLC, Artemis reported. The watchdog has launched a consultation to seek feedback on the proposed merger for any potential violation of section 54 of its Competition Act.
