State school employee retirement system under investigation

Pennsylvania’s Public School Employees’ Retirement System disclosed Wednesday that it is the subject of a federal investigation, Trib Live reported. The disclosure comes two weeks after the fund, which is the state’s largest public pension fund, said it was investigating a consultant’s calculation about its investment performance.
