Guatemalan volcano damages coffee, avocado plantations

The Pacaya volcano in Guatemala is maintaining high levels of activity this month and has damaged coffee and avocado plantations and also caused wildfires, Earthsky reported. The volcano, which is spewing rivers of lava and ash clouds, has been steadily active this year, with two strong explosions at the end of March.
