McGriff hires Willis Towers Watson exec

McGriff Insurance Services Inc. said Tuesday that former Willis Towers Watson PLC executive Conor Hampel has joined McGriff as senior vice president, producer in the firm’s Executive Risk Advisors Group.

He was most recently East team leader for financial, executive, and professional risks for financial institutions for Willis Towers Watson.

David Sellars, co-leader of McGriff’s Executive Risk Advisors Group, said Mr. Hampel will help lead the team’s further expansion in the New York area and nationwide.

McGriff is a subsidiary of Truist Insurance Holdings Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Truist Bank.
