Ever Given vessel insured for protection and indemnity liabilities

Ship insurer U.K. Protection & Indemnity Club has confirmed that the Ever Given vessel is insured for protection and indemnity liabilities, Reinsurance News reported. All valid claims will be considered by the vessel owner Shoei Kisen Kaisha Ltd. as the vessel itself and its cargo must have been insured separately.
