DOJ probes UnitedHealth, Change Healthcare deal

The U.S. Department of Justice is closely investigating UnitedHealth Group Inc.’s $8-billion proposal to acquire Change Healthcare, Inc., PYMNTS.com reported citing Bloomberg. Officials at the Department of Justice have asked executives from both organizations to provide more information on the deal and the so-called second request will give regulators more time to review the proposed buyout beyond the standard 30-day period.
