Willis reportedly mulls sale of French broker for Aon merger

Willis Towers Watson PLC is reportedly mulling offloading its France-based insurance brokerage Gras Savoye in order to meet the regulatory requirements for its planned merger with Aon PLC, Reinsurance News reported citing L’argus de l’assurance. The competition authorities would require Willis and Aon to make €1.5 billion ($1.8 billion) worth of divestitures ahead of their merger.
