World Cup Qatar 2022 gets $900 million insurance cover

FIFA has obtained insurance coverage of $900 million for the Qatar 2022 World Cup tournament, Middle East Insurance Review reported citing InsideTheGames.biz. The insurance covers additional costs related to cancelation, postponement, and/or relocation of the event as well as risks such as natural disasters, war, acts of terrorism, accidents, turmoil, and communicable diseases.
