2020 earthquakes caused over $6 billion damage in Croatia

Croatia suffered 41.6 billion Croatian kuna ($6.66 billion) worth of direct damages from the series of earthquakes that struck the country in December 2020, Total Croatia News reported. The damage amount is 10.2% of Croatia’s gross national income and hence makes it eligible for the European Union's Solidarity Fund.
