Rich, urban Americans used telehealth more than rural folk

A Rand Corp. study found that rich, urban Americans used telehealth more compared to those living in rural areas, Becker's Hospital Review reports. The research, which analyzed more than six million insurance claims from employer-based plans in 2019 and 2020, found urbanites had around 50 telehealth visits per 10,000 people as opposed to 31 visits per 10,000 people in rural areas.
