AssuredPartners buys Kentucky broker

AssuredPartners Inc. said Sunday it has acquired Rice Insurance Services Co. LLC of Louisville, Kentucky.

Rice, which specializes in real estate errors and omissions programs, reports $6 million in annualized revenues. Its 27 employees will remain under the leadership of CEO Cindy Grissom, President Linda Rice and Chief Financial Officer Jerry Rice.

Lake Mary, Florida-based AssuredPartners has more than 7,500 employees in offices throughout North America, London, Belgium and Scotland.

AssuredPartners is the 12th-largest broker of U.S. business, with about $1.4 billion in annual brokerage revenue, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
