Employer-sponsored mental health benefits go unused

A survey has found that nearly half of benefit leaders saying their mental health benefits adequately addressed employees’ needs in 2020, but 56% of the surveyed employees with diagnosable condition said they didn’t get any treatment, MedCity News reported. According to the Lyra Health, Inc. survey, of those who did manage to receive mental health treatment, 45% paid for it themselves.
