Oklahoma measure would create state-run retirement plan

Oklahoma lawmakers have introduced legislation that would create a statewide program that would require employers without a retirement plan to offer one to their staff, Pensions & Investments reports. Under the measure, if a company does not offer a plan, their employees would be automatically enrolled in the statewide retirement plan at a default contribution rate of 3% and have the ability to withdraw anytime.
