BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Pandemic leads to 5.3% drop in general insurance premiums

Data from Jordan’s Insurance Directorate under Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply showed 5.3% year-on-year decline in general insurance premiums to 501.7 million Jordanian dinar ($707.6 million) in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Middle East Insurance Review reported. Total insurance premiums slipped 3.5% to JOD594 million.
