BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Aviva sells French unit to Aéma Groupe for nearly $4 billion

U.K.-based insurer Aviva PLC has agreed to sell its French unit Aviva France SA to France-based mutual insurer Aéma Groupe for €3.2 billion ($3.9 billion), Industry Leader Magazine reported. The transaction covers the French general insurance, life insurance and asset management businesses as well as the shareholding in Aviva France.
