Allianz’s Asia Pacific operating profits rise 15%

German insurer Allianz SE’s total operating profit for the Asia Pacific region rose 15.4% year-on-year to €551 million ($666.4 million) in the year ended Dec. 31, 2020, Asia Insurance Review reported. Total revenues for Asia Pacific increased by 9% to €7.4 billion, with the property and casualty segment reporting 12.5% rise in revenue to €1.3 billion.
