Pathpoint launches online platform for contractors insurance

Pathpoint Inc. on Tuesday launched an online submission and instant quoting service for contractors general liability excess and surplus coverage.

Contractor-specific coverages available through Pathpoint’s web-based platform include builders, construction, carpentry, electrical work, handy people, janitors, landscapers, painters, plumbers, roofers and subcontractors.

General liability limits are up to $1 million per occurrence and $2 million annual aggregate; up to $2 million in revenue coverage;  and up to $5 million in per-project aggregate, according to an email from a spokeswoman.

Agents have access to the platform, which allows binding, at no cost and with no software to download. The platform uses fewer than 20 data fields and can issue multiple quotes in minutes, the company said.

Pathpoint said it is also launching capabilities to support automated processing of endorsements for E&S GL policies.
