Cyber attack hampers French boat maker’s production

A malware intrusion at French boat maker Beneteau SA on the intervening night of Feb. 18 and 19 has forced the company to slow down or stop production at some of its units for a few days, especially in France, Bloomberg Quint reported. The company had to disconnect its systems to thwart further intrusion. The company’s insurance policy will cover any impact on the earnings from the cyber attack.
