About 500 fuel vehicles explode near Afghanistan-Iran border

About 500 fuel vehicles exploded in a huge blaze near Afghanistan-Iran border on Feb. 13, disrupting power supplies and causing over $50 million in damage so far, Reuters reported citing IRNA. The explosion engulfed a customs post in the Islam Qala border town in Afghanistan and around 60 people were injured with initial reports saying that the fire started after a gas tanker exploded.
