UK captive owners to see increased tax scrutiny

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd. said that U.K.-based captive owners will attract increased tax scrutiny in the coming years if they use outsourced operating models and have low headcounts, Captive International reported. It added that under the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development 2020 transfer pricing guidance, captive insurance arrangements must be correctly delineated as actual insurance to be priced as insurance.
