Croatia sees rise in earthquake insurance cover

Insurers such as Croatia Osiguranje d.d. and Euroherc Osiguranje d.d. report increasing demand for earthquake insurance following a quake in March and December 2020, MSN reported citing Bloomberg. Coverage is projected to have increased two-fold year-on-year in January. Moreover, premiums for earthquake damage soared 30% in 2020.
