Humana to join Cigna-run drug buying group

Humana Inc. has agreed to join Cigna Corp.-operated purchasing group Ascent Health Services LLC to bring down its drug costs for its commercial members, effective April 1, Bloomberg reports. The agreement includes drug contracting and negotiations for Humana’s commercial business.
