Virginia firm offers to pay employees in cryptocurrency

Reston, Va.-based software firm Sequoia Holdings, LLC has started an initiative where employees can receive a part of their salary in cryptocurrency like Bitcoin of Bitcoin Cash, Employee Benefits reports. The initiative has been linked to a pension plan through which employees can defer a certain amount of their pay into a retirement savings plan, although the deferral is after tax.
