Former Nationwide E&S exec to join Ryan Specialty Group

Tom Clark, formerly excess and surplus/specialty leader for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co., will join Ryan Specialty Group LLC on March 1 as executive vice president, a new position, RSG said Wednesday.
Nationwide announced in August Mr. Clark’s plan to retire at the end of 2020.
At Ryan Specialty, Mr. Clark will further develop the company’s trading relationships with retail brokers and insurers, working on behalf of RT Specialty and the delegated authority business units within RSG Underwriting Managers, the company said in its statement.
