Maersk containership loses 750 containers in rough seas

U.K.-based cargo claims consultancy W K Webster & Co. Ltd. said that Danish shipping firm A.P. Moller-Maersk AS’ Essen containership lost around 750 containers on Jan. 16 due to rough weather conditions, ScandAsia reported citing Aju Business Daily. The vessel was en route to Los Angeles from China. The remaining containers onboard are likely to have collapsed or been damaged.
