Pub chain relaunches emergency support for employees

U.K-based pub chain Greene King Ltd. is planning to relaunch its COVID-19 Emergency Support Fund that helped it distribute £650,000 in grants to employees in 2020, Employee Benefits reports. The fund, which allows financially pressed workers to access vouchers that could be spent on food and other essentials, is being revived again in response to the third national lockdown that is leaving many team members facing financial strain.
