Association mulls BI insurance for disease outbreaks

The Thai General Insurance Association is considering the feasibility of launching business interruption insurance that will cover the businesses against losses from COVID-19 and other emerging diseases, Bangkok Post reported. Thailand has approximately 2 million small and medium-sized enterprises with fewer than 20% having insurance for business interruption.
