Alliant buys trade credit insurance broker

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. announced Thursday it has acquired trade credit and political risk insurance broker One Source Risk Management and Funding Inc.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Houston-based One Source has offices across the United States and in Canada, an Alliant statement said. The company has 35 staff.

The deal creates a trade credit offering for Alliant’s specialty risk unit, the statement said.
