Roosevelt Giles, chairman of Atlanta Life Financial Group Inc., will chair the Business Insurance Foundation’s D&I Institute, the foundation announced.

In addition to his role at Atlanta Life, Mr. Giles is the founder of EndPoint Consulting Group LLC, a holding company with investments in more than 12 companies that offers cyber and digital transformation services.

In his 30-year career, he has held numerous board appointments and he sits on the Nasdaq Corporate Governance Task Force. On the personal side, Mr. Giles has run 267 marathons, which include running in eight continents – including Antarctica – to support the fight to end cancer.

Widely known as “ALL IN,” the D&I Institute aims to serve the insurance business by finding fresh talent, prospective new staffing and innovative approaches that encourage and engage individuals of every race, religion, sexual preference and education level to enter the field of insurance.

“In addition, ALL IN now focuses, as well, on U.S. veterans and older citizens seeking to return to work as we strive to answer the major talent needs of the insurance business and, as a by-product, to provide opportunity to nontraditional entrants in this lucrative and well-established financial sector,” said Deborah Hamilton, executive director of the Greenwich, Connecticut-based foundation.
