Internet blackouts cost India $2.8 billion in 2020

A report by U.K.-based review site Top10VPN.com found that India recorded 8,927 hours of internet blackouts in 2020 that caused 205 billion Indian rupees ($2.8 billion) in total losses, India Times reported. In 2020, India restricted access to internet over 75 times – highest in the world.
