Berkshire Hathaway hires former AIG exec to lead D&O

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. named former American International Group Inc. underwriter Brady Head as senior vice president and product line officer for directors and officers liability insurance in North America.

The move comes less than a month after the Boston-based insurer lost several senior D&O and professional liability staff to rival QBE North America.

Most recently, Mr. Head was head of management liability at AIG.
