Apple halts orders until supplier fixes labor issues

Apple Inc. has suspended new business for supplier Wistron Corp. until the latter fixes labor practices in India, Indian Express reported citing Bloomberg. Workers at Taiwanese firm Wistron’s Indian plant in Bengaluru vandalized and damaged property and looted thousands of Apple devices in their protest against unpaid wages earlier in December.
