Global cybercrime economic cost hits $1 trillion

A report by U.S.-based cyber security firm McAfee Inc. found that global losses from cybercrime incidents now account for more than $1 trillion, up 50% from cyber losses in 2018, Business Standard reported citing IANS. Intellectual property theft and financial crime account for at least 75% of the cyber losses.
