Hurricane worsens Honduras’ economic growth outlook

Honduras’ central bank expects an additional percentage point reduction in the country’s economic growth in 2020 due to the damage caused by Hurricane Eta, Reuters reported. The country is now expected to see its sharpest economic contraction of 8% to 9% as a result of the hurricane and COVID-19 impacts.
