Scor's premiums rise more than 1% in third quarter

French reinsurer Scor SE's gross written premiums increased 1% year-on-year to nearly €4.1 billion ($5 billion) in the third quarter of 2020 despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Zone Bourse reports. Net profit fell 5.2% to €109 million. For the first nine months of the year, premiums grew nearly 2% to €12.3 billion, while net profit declined 66.3% to €135 million.
