Cyber insurance demand to rise: Munich Re

Doris Hopke, board member at Germany-based Munich Reinsurance Co., said that the demand for cyber insurance will increase due to a rise in the frequency and severity of cyber-attacks, 1asig reports. More than 70% of cybersecurity professionals reported an increase in the number of cyberattacks since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
